Part One of my Story Based off of an RP

Posted by MahFreenAmeh on Feb. 2, 2006, 7:28 p.m.

Just before i start this off… I'm going to do it in parts, since, on paper, it's 6 pages long… So yeah. And, excuse the Lack of indentations, please. I dislike them..

A Meeting By Chance

It was, and always will be, a meeting by chance. This meeting, a collision of souls, a meeting of two seperate objects, so to speak, a bondage of two souls. Though love may exist between the two, the love was only null… Love was a dangerous game, and now, it wrought upon this story, this web-spinning, in all of it's intricacies.

It all started one faithful day, a happenstance, that The Explorer, Or, by his real name, Goh Aziwaru, wandered upon a tropical utopia in a desert, however awkward that may seem. This place, Nicoya, it was called, seemed to exist, in ignorance of the fact that it, itself, was surrounded on all sides by a desert. Awkwardly enough, it was a thriving city, with a forest around the outside of it, a beautiful sight to behold in a desert.

The Explorer had happened upon the forest. Odd that tree's could flourish in the Desert… he had thought to himself. "Oh well. Who knows? I might be under the effect of a hallucinogen..," he thought out loud. It was by sheer luckhe encountered someone he would eventually become great friends with, despite their bitter arguements. The creature resemvled a humanoid. The Explorer would then greet the stranger. "Pardon me? Hello there," The Explorer had said to the Humanoid. The humanoid grunted, and replied, "Yeah." Astonished at his mannerisms, The Explorer would say, "Greetings. I am Goh. Who might you be?"

Well, to that, the Humanoid would look at him… and spit out quickly, "I Am Gojyo". "Very well then… Where am i?", The explorer asked. "You're in a place called Nicoya…", said Gojyo, and then he walked off. At that, Goh would walk into the city center. There, he would be greeted by the High Priest, Feuer. This turned out badly for him; He was greeted rather rudely, and forced to be interrogated. But, being such a sly person, he snuck off, rather quickly, at that.

He had ran off into town, and entered the local tavern. Their, something momentously life-changing would happen. He would meet Blair, a person who would become important to him in time. It had taken him a while, but, he realized soon, that there was no Barkeep. "Oh well. Alcohol is bad for you, after all…" He muttered. And, soon after, he would meet Blair.

To the woman, he would say, "Excuse me, ma'am… but i am rather…. new here…" She would look to him, and say, "Good for you." Left speechless, the Explorer just stared at her. She would then say, "Err.. Sorry about that. I'm Blair. Welcome to Nicoya.", She said. "Ahh. I am Goh. Goh Ai Aziwaru." And to that, Blair replied "Ok, then."

And that is part One.. There will be about… 3 Parts. Look forward to them!

Hey, pretty good. Writing something fantasy has always interested me.

Yeah… It;'s really long.. This is just the beginning… Which means… Damn. 3 More pages of this.

Only 3? C'mon, bust your ass, write more!! lol What's the longest story you've written?

tjg92 18 years, 10 months ago

I used to write. I haven't done anything since I was 12, because I wrote something so amazingly bad that I was uninspired for like, 43564356 years… (exageration LOL)

jea… maybe I could post some of my less terrifyingly crappy stuff later.

lol aw, writing is so fun. I love it, having a dry spell though v.v makes me sad… have to stop in between scenes. But I shall prevail!

It's 3 1/2 Pages of lined paper, front and back.. So that's like… 6 1/2 Pages… This is probably one of the longest stories i have ever wrote. I would write more.. but, i feel like this is enough.. for now.

Really? Not too much, I've written up to 100 pages….and then lost it with my old computer T___T i only have bits and pieces… sucks.

But that's cool, writings so fun and entertaining >w< I just had a nice writers boost, must write!

I would write more.. but.. yeah.. whenever i write on paper, my hands get tired… and i always write more than i should… I have a way of writing that is usually similar to that of dickens, in the fact that i have dedicated whole paragraphs, even chapters, to just one thing…. Ah well.

I would write more on paper, but when i write drafts on paper, they stay short, then get added onto when typed up. The way i have typed it up is different than that of the actual way the story was written. I fixed some major errors in it, for sure.. Especially referring to myself in real life.. That was persistent throughout the first part.

It wouldn't surprise me if you take on writing as a career in later life. For some reason it seems to suit you.

Anyways, a very, very great fantasy author is Terry Brooks. (the best series by him are Shannara and Word & Void)
