Don't Overthink [Musings of Wu Wei]

Please, worship me

hour striking soon

Master questions;

So sad to say

Happenstance reappearing

Gone was the day

But Tao revealed

The path traced itself

While walking upon the mountain

A man spoke to the night

The light converging into shapes

"He who conquers life

Only fears death."

Burning like fire

Ocean current draws in,

Tearing land apart

Destroying firm and rich soil

All the while, he sits

Fishing pole, smiling

For he knows the truth

A fish nibbles on the line

Tearing at sinew

He shows no sign of interest,

Lets go of the rod

As the ocean rises high

Life begins anew

He sits back at his dear shore

And casts out again

Falling eternal

Dewdrops litter the landscape

Carved of pure beauty

When you try

Will you ever do?

How can you start

Without knowing how to end?

The voice that is no voice

Is the only true voice that

We have

Left in this world

History speaks

But Present acts

The line was cast

To return nothing

But water and the Way

A road never walked is merely not ready

Footsteps treading upon it

Would only ruin it.

Imperfection is

As all, as one.

Clay:

Eternity has no spokes

It is we who hold it together

Halibutski:

How can you hate,

What you can not see?

Deterrence.

"Cannot" is one word, silly.

Your avatar is interesting… where is it from?

Kilin:

Both can not and cannot are exceptable forms. It's a verb followed by a negation. Therefore, can not is perfectly acceptable. Even so, there was reason for saying can not over cannot. Cannot implies equal importance of both words, whereas can not shows more stress inasmuch as both words are placed seperately; it's mean to emphasize the amount of ability that a person has.

Correcting language with MFA? You'd be better of correcting It about That

May I ask what you meant to say when the fisher dropped the line yet then through it in again? I read that as letting go of the rod
