time shouldn't really be compared to anything physical.
i suppose it is one way of coping with the so-called ineffable, unknowable, almighty, inextricable, inexorably enigmatic constructs which we have not come up with a way to even come close to possibly imagining. but to compare time to something physical, is like comparing something concrete to the abstract, they belong to two different classes of objects (namely {x: x is concrete} and {y: y is abstract} for those of you who need to classify them [obvious though innit] ). surely some things in the world tend to have things in common, that is how it so seems to be with reality but the fact of the matter is, the abstract and the concrete have nothing truly in common, except for the fact that the concrete tend to possess rationalizations and facets of the abstract.what a brave new world.sometimes i sit back and am just amazed with how things happen, with life itself. i do not understand why it amazes me, why it has this profound effect on me, how it puts on this air of dormant nothingness. i suppose the zeitgeist follows itself in time. it's hard to predict what one might say next whenever you really don't want to. even i cannot predict what i am going to say next, all i can do is sit here and type as though it were a stream of words escaping my entirety. that aside, i must say, today is quite a fine day for dancing.
You should watch this.
@mmorpgguy or however you feel you should be properly and positively named, i would watch it if i held any interest but at the moment i do not. it intrigues me that you link me to a video about the fourth spatial dimension as nowehere did i mention the fourth spatial dimension but instead the kaluza-kleinesque idea of the fifth, temporal dimension, albeit in a more metaphorical and abstract way. so you will have to tell me exactly how the fourth spatial dimensio works into this
Oh wow I probably should have actually read that entry of yours up there.
@mmorpgguy i'm proud of you
I can't resist to say this, but we humans come up with abstract concepts as a way to represent and deal with physical phenomena.
hey I know that I'm going to say cheese outloud next,…oh wow I just said it! I'm so smart
but no, time shouldn't be compared to a physical thingbut it can be recorded as data since data contains either kind of information@josea universe has to be coped with somehow.
of course i had already said this.you are correct sir
time is money, we all spend 24 hours of it everyday. The question is, what are you spending yours on?
@mesenberg you bastard.
