STOP BEING FUCKING RETARDED.
I want my fucking dhcp to work, but no, you're being a son of a bitch assmongler. So stop me from getting on the internet, really, I appreciate it, a lot! Stop denying my jaunty install access to the internet, I want to upgrade to Karmic Koala, I suppose that's just too much to ask for in this day and age, though. It seems that if my computer suddenly overheats while I am running some torrents, my router decides to stop giving me dhcp services. In fact, I can't even connect to my router from my laptop, it's odd. My card keeps getting a bogus MAC address because forcedeth detect that it is invalid or some shit. It's really starting to piss me off. It allocates a random one when it detect that my MAC is invalid, in its terms. I tried to query my dns just out of curiousity to see what would happen if I attempted to resolve a site, and an interesting thing happened: PERMISSION DENIED. I may just tear my laptop apart and install a new NIC, a new wireless card at that. About now, that seems to be the only thing that I can do.In other news, I'm wearing a tie. I like wearing ties.I WANT MY GOD DAMN DHCP TO WORK I WANT GOD DAMN INTERNET I WANT MY DNS TO STOP BEING A FUCKING DICK NUGGET. Linux is fun though.
I suggest taking a bat and beating the hell out of your router.
Josea: But that would just destroy it. ;-;
static IP plz
get an axe and slam it into your laptop, but don't forget to take pix
why are you shouting at me ;_;
tl;dr: Fuck my life
@py cuz i h8 u
@arc an shiet fuk u statik ip homo@Toast tl;dr no.at that i personally prefer having something else do the work for me, i don't like having to bother with setting things up if i don't have to. easy thing should be easy, hard things should become easier, and impossible things should become hard. lol perl 6, lol larry wall.
nonetheless, setting up a static ip takes time that i don't want to take.but dhcp makes me smile. DHCPDISCOVER for some reason hangs. gotta rape a malcontent.the computer just will not properly detect the MAC address of the card so I have a feeling network data is being routed to the wrong MAC.your network seems to be corrupted.
