Great minds think in Lettuce Time

My partner and I are planning on writing a book, entitled (you guessed it) "Great Minds Think in Lettuce Time". It will be a book of adsurd thoughts, interesting observations and life-changing considerations.

Basically, we're going to write down all of the stupid ideas we've come up with, as well as a few of the interesting theories too.

For example, my SO came up with the idea of 'lettuce time' (keep in mind this is in fact the worst, and stupidest, idea in the book) in which the world is governed by how long it takes lettuce to decompose. I try to argue the logical point, but to no avail. I'll have to clarify exactly where lettuce time came from, cos it makes no sense to me.

There was also another one, involving pedestrian crossings and the surface tension of a giant blob of water.

The theory that the theory of time and travelling the speed of light, and how it's fundamentally flawed because you can't divide by zero, is in fact wrong. I think that rather than being an exponential graph, it should in fact be a hyperbola, therefore stating that if you went FASTER than the speed of light you would in fact travel backwards in time.

And others. It may actually turn out pretty interesting. If we ever get around to writing the damn thing.

I'm also CONSIDERING rejuvenating my most ambitious project - Novastorm. Considering it at least. The original few attempts were marred by my general inability to do many parts of the game, including graphics and some code. But now I may be able to get through it.

But Danse Machina first! Still working on level one. I think you might like it. Its very Aliens-esque in style. Pretty cool, and scares the hell out of me.

If you aren't into the slower elements of rpgs (the talking and character development etc) then you aren't going to like DM much, even though it's an action game. I really want to go with a deep storyline for the characters - make them three dimensional if you will. I'll also get into doing my own portraits for them, but that will have to wait until I get my WACOM Tablet. That will certainly make things easier.

AAAANYHOO, cyas on the morrow for another interesting rant!

YA VERY! [:P]

If you could travel faster than light, I personally think everything would nearly "disappear".
I personaly agree with melee… Though I am only 13, I've watched numerous tv shows on Einsteins Theory of Relativity. I do belive I actually heard that "If you could travel faster than light, you would disappear"

Ahhh. Neat stuff science. Rock on!

Well, considering it has been PROVEN that travelling at, or faster, then the speed of light is a physical imposibility, stuff about how you would turn into light, and the fact that time is a human construct, it is not possible at all to go backwards in time. just think about it. If travelling back in time was physically possible, someone from ANY time in the future would have came back and said "here, have a time machine". thus because we don't have time machine's now, we NEVER EVER will. Travelling FORWARDS in time, however, is possible….

ah! But Stephen Hawking has noted that it IS possible to travel back in time, but only as far as the point at which the time machine was first created.
