Pokemon fever

Ok, it's more like Pokemon headache XD

But that's not the point. I've been playing my old Pokemon games (blue, crystal, stadium, sapphire) and it's a great example of what a Turn based Rpg style game should be.

Good Relatively good graphics(for it's respective limitations) and plenty of opponents, plenty of moves you can use. and ease of backtracking (FLY since it only lets you go to places you've been) some fun mini games that do serve a purpose (game corner, the purpose is gaining items and Pokemon) and it had a simple enough learning curve and a nice story that wasn't too hard to follow. Pokemon and a genius way of keeping on track without holding you hostage.

The whole point of this blog was to inform you of a little experiment me and my friend pat are performing. We're going to catch a missing number or "M" and trade it to Crystal version to see what the damage is. Or predictions are 50% chance it messes up the game altogether, 40% "M" morphs into a random Pokemon with multiple watergun moves, and 10% it does something else… like stay M.

ANYWAY, I'm off to watch Trinity Blood.

I remember M, I never caught it for fear of screwing up my game. That's what I'd been told anyways. Does anyone know if that really did happen?

And for the record it's Missingo, not missing number…

And are you catching M or Missingo? They're different if i remember, it has to do with the level and the fact one of them can use fly or something.

For those of you who don't understand the missingo glitch, it had to do with letters in your name. If you put x in the 3rd spot, w in the 5th spot, and y in the 7th spot, you could get all four types of Missingos (Yes, there are four of them, two of which have images of normal pokemon but all the other properties of Missingo. Look that shit up. You have to understand C++ like a motherfucker to get why it does that, though.

So name yourself anxoway or something and keep surfing that coast. You'll find the original one, a ghost one, a kabutops one, and an aerodactyl one, all with those images but named missingno and with his abilities.

(and I read this one somewhere)

Also, You've noticed that Missingo doesn't always have the same attacks. In Blue, he usually has low level water attacks, but can sometimes have others…

it is caused by the last pokemon that was put into a certain place in memory in the game. For example, if you open up the pokedex and look up Mewtwo, then catch Missingo right after, he'll take on Mewtwo's abilities.
