Hey everyone, Microsoft just forced me to switch to Ubuntu by locking me out of my computer for a pirated copy lol. Anyway, I have GM running under Wine and it seems to be working correctly except when I try to activate my copy. When I click activate it just opens up that IE page and says please wait while the page is loading. Is there anything I can do activate it on Ubuntu or no? I tried going to the GMC but it wouldn't let me register so I was out of luck.

Second of all, the idea is not to let MS know you have a pirated copy. I'm not sure if GM7, or whatever you're planning to use is supported on Ubuntu, but you should try.If you need a download link, just go to yoyogames.com. It's not that hard to look for it.Yea I got GM 6.1 and just got a serial off the net since I only reg'd GM 7. GM 7 seems to be working under Wine it just has a problem with the activation process. The alpha channel support would be really nice :/

Get it cracked, softwrap screws up in windows, so image what it'll be like in Wine!Lmao, probably works better :P
