Apologies to flashback, his logic is solid enough. I'm just iffed by mods being super-strict when it comes to advertising. I recently had my signature on a forum removed due to it being an "advertisement". What the fucking hell are signatures for?!
Ah well. Just be careful to have 'real content' in your blog.
I presume this is a joke. Advertising, while annoying, is a key part of, um, lots of stuff.

The fact that Flashback, the one who forbid advertising, has done it him self, in some way or another.-MattEh? I said no using blogs exclusively for advertising. If there's, you know, actually blog content too, there's no issue.
I see your point, flashback. I suppose people making blog entries solely for advertising doesn't irritate me as much as it does you. Is it really that big a deal? It's not as if half the blogs on the front page are just advertisements.
So report them? I'm not talking about thing that are "check out my cool game that I did X on" blogs, I'm talking about "Join my uber-happy funtime group! We're looking for *yada yada*" - because it's a blog site, not the classifieds. If you're looking for a job, do you read the editorials or the letters to the editor? No. you read the classifieds. In fact, I'm pretty damn sure there's a dozen and a half "GM Classifieds" sites out there, and the Team forum on the GMC to boot.
Regardless, this isn't even the first time this has been enforced.You could've just said "Yes. To me, a moderator, blogs that are only advertisements are a big deal"
