Yay, I can blog again!

…So let's get straight to the point. I'm going to be taking a stab at making an action-oriented videogame.

It's based on an existing and fairly popular IP, but it's not super popular. You'd have an easy time finding people who've never heard of it.

Can you guess what it is?
It was produced sometime in the '90s.
Not a videogame, though there are a few games based on it.
It takes place just a few years ahead of present day.
Takes place on Earth.
Main character is male, young, and his name starts with S.
It will consist entirely of several large boss encounters, a la Shadow of the Colossus.

One of the bosses will look kinda like that ^^, only bigger and levitating.
Those are the clues. First person to correctly guess what my game is based on wins an item of their choosing from Amazon with a value of $30 or less.

…k, so that's that. Now on to stuff about my Naval career!

One of my roommates got sent to Captain's Mast for underage drinking, and thus he is no longer my roommate. This happened a couple weeks ago, yet the staff at my barracks seem to think he still lives here. It's really annoying having the Messenger of the Watch come knocking on my door at 0200 looking for him because they put him on the watch bill. But… on the plus side, because they still think he lives here, they have yet to give me a new roommate to replace him.

Ok, I'm gonna update the blog with an image hint. If you're familiar with what the game is based on, it might help immensely. If you aren't, then… have fun being baffled. :)

I was referring to my game, sorry about that! Should've worded that more clearly…

The thing that my game is based on is NOT a videogame. However, there have been a few games produced based on this IP.

And… not Space Ghost, Samurai Jack, or Sam and Fuzzy. lol
