Hooray for overestimating!

I was able to spend some moneys on Amazon, thanks to me overestimating my first Sprint bill.

And guess what? I didn't buy any Blu-rays. lol

I did, however, buy something I haven't bought in ages:

Books.

I bought an unabridged copy of The Count of Monte Cristo, as well as a book about the history of the US Navy. Will I read them? At 1312 and 568 pages respectively, I can't promise anything. If I don't read them now, I'll probably read them when I eventually get put on a ship, since I won't be able to buy new things off of Amazon non-stop.

In addition, I bought a 6-piece set of precision screwdrivers to attempt to fix the Sprint Overdrive I broke a little while ago. I figure that $7 is a drop in the bucket compared to the absurd $350 it would cost to buy a replacement. We'll see how that goes. I may have to buy a soldering iron too, and I'm not exactly sure I'm authorized to have one in my barracks. lol

Don't need a tv for books, just light.

You spend money like you have no pockets at all - just giant holes leading to cash registers at your local superstores.

I have pockets, but according to uniform regulations, I'm not allowed to use them.

There's a metaphor if ever I heard one.
