DILEMMA

Ok, so I have two broken items that I need to replace:

A TV and a wireless hotspot.

Now in theory, I could almost replace both of them next payday. But at about $200 and $350 respectively, it'd take all of my next paycheck.

The plan is to replace one thing next payday and then replace the other with the following payday.

So my dilemma is… what do I replace first?

On one hand, I've got some awesome Blu-rays that I'd love to watch. On the other, if I don't replace my Sprint hotspot then I'll have to wait another month to cancel my Cricket service if I want to still be able to access the internet on my laptop.

One idea is that I could get a new TV, cancel my Cricket service anyway and just go 15 or so days without internet until I can afford to replace my Sprint device. I do tend to waste a lot of time doing a whole lot of nothing on the net, when I could be doing things like watching/playing/reading the things I constantly buy. And I could possibly even start one of many game projects I have planned.

Thoughts?

I'd say go with the tv if you've got nothing important to do online.

Laughing at other people's misfortune is only ok if it's behind their back.

Don't buy a new TV. Not only will you save money, you'll also find yourself in possession of more time.

Internet > Movies > TV

My monitor is actually a TV, but I hardly use it as that function, besides, you can always watch TV through Internet.
