k so… I don't think my game for Scary-four digits is gonna meet the deadline. So far, I have… one sprite. Of a chair. Nothing else whatsoever.

In other news, while bored in school, I've been thinking up a game hexology. It's sci-fi, and each of the games in the hexology falls under a slightly different genre of gameplay.

Each of the six games is a different stage of the process of the colonization of a new planet. The first half of the hexology is the task of actually colonizing the planet, while the latter half are more character-driven games revolving around the newly colonized planet.

And even though I haven't started work on it yet, other than basic planning, I'm going to set a goal to get the first entry out by January 31st. Possibly sooner, depending on how much will to work on it I can muster. The first entry is the simplest and shortest, but will require careful thought and clever design to make it a good game, as it's essentially The Oregon Trail in space.
