Ok so I re-ordered my MacBook Pro. Instead of financing it though, I'm buying it outright. So… my bank account is just about empty now.
Probably for the best, since I won't have to worry about paying it off. But now I've got a Barclaycard Visa with a $1300 limit just tempting me. I should probably destroy it before I do something stupid with it. lolNot that there's Apple product that is all that tempting. I've got the newest MacBook Pro and iPod Touch, so what else do I need? An Apple Cinema Display would be nice but a waste, since I'd have to get rid of it in less than 8 months. The iPad 2 isn't particularly tempting either.Anyway, yeah. Facebook stalkers/girlfriends are interesting. That is all.
That is why I have a debit card.
The things people do to get their hands on a minimal function, yet shiny brand of pc…I'm talking to you Mac.
I use a Mac all the time. I'm an ex-student assistant(so maybe I'm just a teacher?) who teaches peeps how to use Zbrush over at an old school of mine, and all they have there are Macs.
So in short, I use both, and yes I hate Macs a bit. But that's mostly due to the absurd prices, and how I can't dig into all the gritty little bits as easily as I can with Windows. They're a little overpriced, but not really as bad as some people make it out to be. Plus they also have absurdly better resale value than any PC, so… yeah.
Anyway, my MacBook Pro has been shipped. Now all that's left is the hardest part: waiting for it to get here.…Not to mention there's not a huge game selection for Mac <_< >_>
Ah well.Who resells a PC? These are computers, not cars.
That train of thought is partially why the resale value is so low. But if all someone needs a computer for is surfing the web and typing up the occasional paper, they don't need a brand new computer.
But yeah, I resell. I bought a $450 laptop when I got out of boot camp and later resold it for $100 to a friend who just needed a computer for surfing the internet and watching DVDs. I'll be selling my current laptop for cheap to a friend who wants a gaming laptop when my MacBook Pro gets here. There's no point in him paying more for a lesser computer, or paying way more for an equal computer.
