I am beginning one of my old projects again, after about a year of abandonment.

It is a platform shooter featuring an ex soldier on an alien planet. However, his dropship is shot down shortly after arrival, and he loses, most of his memory.

He encounters some alien civilians, who run away in terror, after following them; he enters a small town, where, somehow, he joins forces with the aliens, still unaware of the human invasion, due to a lack of translation. The humans soon turn on him, and that is all I’m revealing now.

There will be drivable vehicles, and many weapons and abilities

As well as (hopefully) good visuals.

I know the last screenshot is almost a direct copy of stitches: source, I am changing that.

The story and graphics may become a lot like the film avatar (speaking of which, have you seen my new one, it features the soldiers in the fourth screenie) and also darksirrusgames’ depths/crimson star. I did not copy either of these, as I began work before I knew either the film, or dsg’s game even existed, however it was a combined inspiration from both of them which got me working on it again.

Sorry to darksirrus for unintentionally making a game very similar to yours. You are one of my favourite members of this site.
