Another two tunes

Posted by Mordi on Aug. 9, 2009, 9:15 p.m.

Been trying to compose my own tunes instead of remixing old ones lately. I got the idea (after seeing Sir Xemic doing it) to record the screen while composing them, which failed once and was moderately successful the last time. Here are two attempts.

Relax.mp3

- A work-in-progress that I probably won't finish. The screen-capture failed on this one. Oh well.

Unnamed (work in progress).mp3

- This one has a very "full" sound, I'll probably work more on this. I have the first hour or so documented on this one. Over a gigabyte of sound and video, I think. :S

Let me know what you think of them.

I liked the WIP the most, very synth-y though. Sorry I don't have a real review thought out for you, I'm pressed on time at the moment.

Or one I uploaded a long time ago and is deleted now?

Anyway, I like your music. :)

Yup, that one.

Great work :) I was slightly dissappointed because in Relax, I expected a metal tune to kick in after the initial part, including screaming "RELAX, MOTHERFUCKER, RELAX", but your version is probably better than my idea :>

Hah, Relax is such a happy song. Nice job.

Sorry about rushing. Didn't want to bore the viewer.

cool, i dont have time to watch it all now but you could speed it up? you won't really get the specifics but more a general idea of how the song was made, which i think is more interesting
