Making a video-gamey tune to practice composition and making transitions between different compositions. I imagine each of the tunes to be in some sort of game.

The start is from Donkey Kong Country 2, but from there I have just improvised more or less.

This blog's title made me nostalgia. (I know that's not correct English but you know what I mean)

Anyway, I gave it a listen and yeah, you improvised big time after a while. I didn't recognize one of my favorite songs of all time anymore =P

This is arguably one of the best (though often voted as the best) tracks on DKC2.

The horn you have sounds very, very similar to the original. At least at first it does.

Man, this brings back memories. But it gets a bit too…how do you say…percussive? I have no idea what the word is, but it loses the emotional feeling that the song was designed to bring.

Nice job. You put an interesting ambiance to the music that the original track didn't seem to have.
