I recently made a cover/remix of an old .xm-tune by famed (scene-wise) composer Xerxes, and he really, really liked it!
He made a post here:View threadThis is pretty cool. I can't think of a greater achievement in a cover or remix than the original composer praising it!That is all.
I don't have a media player that can play .xm files, but your remix sounds cool. Very clean, like usual.
Where did you get the vocals from? From the .xm?Yep. Some of the drum-samples and the vocals are from the xm.
MilkyTracker is a pretty good player for xm-files. It also lets you export the samples.Great work, love both the original and the remix, though the song itself is kind of repetitive.
VLC can play .xm but it's not as good as MilkyTracker.
I do agree, Cesque. I should change the second half up a bit to add some variation.
