Hey guys, remember blogs about game development?
Jalb and I are working on a game using XNA. It's basically the same as "Worms!"/Pinktards, but now we've decided to ditch the copyright-infringing worms. I am trying to come up with a character that can replace said worms. After some thought I figured that hamsters would be fun to use as instruments of slaughter. Alas, I am not an established artist - but I have spent some time trying to characterize hamsters. This is what I've got so far:LinkThe UI in the game is pretty far along. It has Buttons, lists, boxes, you name it. These are some of the concepts I made before we started:LinkHere's what the UI actually looks like right now:http://mordi.ziphoid.com/data/stuff/UI1.pnghttp://mordi.ziphoid.com/data/stuff/UI2.pnghttp://mordi.ziphoid.com/data/stuff/UI3.pngRight now we are working on getting the networking up and running. This is something Jalb handles, in addition to most of the programming. I only programmed the menu, really.Hopefully you'll be interested in playing this once we have made something playable.By the way, if anyone has suggestions on what we should name this game - feel free to share them.
Whoa, looks nifty.
