BBQ 6: Scrapped

Okay, relax. The idea is not abandoned (you will still get your precious BBQ), it is being remade. Why? The story wasn't working, and there were too many re-writes of it because I had no clue what I was doing most of the time.

Right now, the obvious hit me: it's October. There's the solution.

The story will be remade, as a lot of the graphics. The game itself… well, I never got much done.

The story script is in there, but only the base, and a large chunk of the end missing (I still want it to be the ending, so I'm not going to ruin it). There's a lot of inaccuracies because, like I said, I stopped going by the story.

Now, this is giving me less than a month to work on. I need someone to help me finish, and fast. It isn't going to be rushed, but if I don't get priorities straight I will never finish.

I need a spriter, preferably someone that sprites the same style TG does in BBQ3. Not BBQ4, or 2, or 1. BBQ3. Go play it if you have no idea what I'm talking about. Basically, simple sprites, no outline, and obvious signs of trying to use different shades of color. If you can sprite, then upload a picture of a character, preferrably you, in a halloween costume. Take the template from the gm6, and yeah. Do not revamp it, do no devamp it, do not try to make it look any different from what TG does. Again, if you have no clue what I'm talking about, take a look at TG's sprites from BBQ3 or the new sprites (arcades) I made in BBQ6. They should follow the same style. The body parts should stay the same. The eyes will stay in the same place.

If it hasn't hit you already, the theme will be halloween. Most people will be in costumes, and well, I had already spent a lot of time simply making recolors for BBQ6. Costumes, there's no way I can do all of them.

BBQ 6 is a project to prove 64D isn't dead… yet.

Also, just as a sidenote, I just found out my webhost was closed today. I'm sick of having to switch webhosts all the time… what are the odds of me being able to get a subdomain here? I've seen others do it before. Way before, it would just be interesting to know. I understand it's probably not possible it would just be really neat if it was.

Keeping it dead because it was TG's is pretty selfish. BBQ was about the community, not TG. The concept will still be there, no matter who makes it.

I see you went through and decompiled the bbqs. Shifty.

What can I say? I wanted it to be as close as possible.

Not like it matters anymore as I have to remake the engine.
