Just wanted to know, how many of you actually advertise 64D? You know, tell people to come here? How many of you have accounts on other forums and put 64D in your signature, or make games and put 64D's name on it as a thanks for the website hosting the game?
Now that I think about it, the most advertising I've done for 64D is this: And that was just for the opening credits. A game made years ago. Probably downloaded a few dozen times.I just saw the Phantom Mod newspost and someone mentioned 64D being more dead because there aren't that many noobs around to pwn. (haha, haven't used those words in a while). It's true, we don't really get that much new traffic anymore. It could be because the game making community is dying (even the GMC is seeing a drop in members) or just because we don't advertise 64D.Whatever, I'm gonna go put 64D on all my games right now. This site's the shit.
I'm probably gonna mention 64digits on my upcoming game.
I never advertised this site in my games before.Omg, you're right, we gotta start attracting newbie members to this site.
I can imagine the front page posts already :P"HOW DO I POST BLOGS?!?!!?"or "HELP! MY ACCOUNT IS LOGGING ME OUT!!1!1one"maaan fuck that shit Cyrus, people from yoyogames are likely to post the same "hey ya'll" blog then never come back. maybe if we posted our projects on real sites like gamejolt and linked back here we'd get some decent bloggers.
I remember that topic. Honestly, I can see how people might dislike the site, but I've found the folks around here seem to have a larger brain capacity than most who frequent YYGF.
I also feel as though I'm with a like-minded crowd here.I definitely intend to advertise 64d in my games, and through my art, other profiles, friends, etc. I had urged a friend of mind to join before, but I've received no word of reply on that issue, yet.we're serious artists yo.
Dangit guys, now I feel like an atypical YYG immigrant :(
wait…that would be a good thing wouldn't itI put the 64Digits logo in all of my games. Too bad none of them are done.
I've tried referring friends over here, but no one listens. Though I suppose I'm glad they didn't, 64D has always been good for getting away from irl friends. I did meet one person at my school who used to go to 64Digits regularly, but he left frustrated during the 64chan era and told me he didn't feel like coming back. I've always planned to put 64Digit logos in my games, but I never finish games just like everyone else. If I meet someone online from another community, sometimes I'll refer them here if they are into indie gaming or just video games in general.
In response to the comments,I don't want annoying yyg kids here, it's how we started and god damn it we aren't going back. Yyg people that are mature are welcomed, but honestly most yyg members just sink here.
