There's a pony over the 64D logo? Isn't this going to far?

I have to agree. I'm not particularly concerned by the actual meme itself. I don't go on 4chan or keep up with all that stuff because I don't find 4chan or the idea of memes particularly interesting or entertaining.

As far as I care, people can do or say whatever they want on this site to express themselves. But when you start sticking things all over the site which only concerns a minority of the patrons… in other words, when you start using the whole site to express yourself… that's when it becomes poor taste.

Again it's not the actual subject of the logo change I'm objecting to, just the changing of the logo on principle.

It got changed for a few hours. We should change it more often. 64D is not serious business.

But see, that's the thing, there's no need to mess with the logo. Or the site. You want to be funny/express yourself? use your own avatar or page. NOT the site itself. I was cracking up when I saw the "it's that time of the month" logo when 64D went on downtime. I was getting pissed when I saw MLP though. People's opinions are different as to what's funny and what's not, so it's better to not mess with it entirely. See, cause that way, you don't piss anyone off, period!

Oh wait, no it doesn't. Everything you do is going to piss SOMEBODY off. So they're offended - so what? if somebody is offended by something as frivolous as a tv show reference, I don't honestly think I want to know them.
