Here is some random news about… Well… Me…
My pong example got deleted for being 'too simple'. I know that pong IS simple, but I had a couple nice features, and it was the most advanced pong example I've ever seen. Anyway, if you missed out on seeing it, here's a link to the GM6:http://www.64digits.com/download.php?name=pong_example.gm6&id=10262I now have more WIPs then I know what to do with, and I don't know which ones to drop, and which ones to finish! Here's an incomplete list:RBAUBall Maze 2Ball Maze 3DSuper Mary-O SWATShocQSpace Stati0nArkanoid AmelioratedBattlezoneAsteroids Remake(Title Pending)Ultimate Battlefield (VB)And more…Last, but not least, I've made some major updates to the RBAU website. (Most of you probably don't know what I'm talking about. I added a scrolling bar with screenshots at the bottom, the map archive has been redone, and a new ccomment, rating and poll system has been added! And I know the download doesn't work, so don't bug me about it.Here's the website:http://www.rbau.co.nrThis is a very old demo, I didn't do much of this one, but the upcoming beta's updates will be mostly by me and sn0wb0arder381. What you see here was mostly by MrBiggles (Programming) and Apocalypso(Menu Graphics). (Thanks!) I'm posting this so that you may test out the maps in the archive, and so that you don't complain (much) about the download not working. Enjoy :-)http://www.64digits.com/download.php?name=RBAU_Demo.zip&id=10710Oh, and I almost forgot, I'm putting [17] at the end of my entries from now on! :-D
Aww, to simple? This is when you add random surfaces and noticeable blending*.
*These don't actually make a game better unless they add to its style or game play.I fixed the webbie… don't forget that :D
Sorry, Firebee, I'll fix that up right now:
Firebee helped. (a little. :P)Firebee helped with the really messy frames layout…
Just kidding around. :P
Yes, we're all very grateful, although it looks fine either way on my resolution. :)
