Lately I've been looking for a 3D Games developing tool. Game Maker is great and all, but 3D games are getting to be very limited with it, and I'd like to start looking for alternatives. Torque Game Engine looks perfect, except for the $150 price tag. I need something good that's free. It can't be limited (3D Rad) difficult to use (Crystal Space) hard to dive into (Dark Basic) or laggy (Game Maker). It also has to be made for 3D, not as a side option, but as it's main function. If such a program exists, PLEASE tell me about it! Otherwise, I guess I'll just save up for Torque.
Anyway, I finally added RBAU to the GGE archive, feel free to take a look, if you have a GGE account of course: What else should I say? I don't want to get tagged again…Oh-Kay, I can't think of anything, I hope this was long enough.
have u looked at DarkBasic?
Far as i know, its very cheap and made for easy 3d.Nice game!
A good 3D game making program is non-existant. And I see your enthusiam over Crystal Space didn't last long ;)
Erm, let me rephrase that… A good FREE 3D game making program is non-existant.
CS3D would be awesome if I could figure out how to open it, that's why I tried to call you yesterday.
