As of late I started spriting with SA:.
-Big ass screenshot of SAI's interface in use-Naw, I dun think anyone would want to steal my sprites, I just thought the fancy pentagram watermark looked professional. As you can see I am making use of the layers to sketch out animations, layers to put that watermark there. The pallete bar which can be loaded right from on screen colors (which MS Paint fucking needed), and three tools outfited strictly for non anti-aliasing;Binary Pen, which sets the subject pixel to the exact color and alpha prescribed, and the Eraser being another binary pen with a broad area of turning surrounding pixels to zero alpha. The bucket fill then of coarse acts just like the MS paint one. Contrary to many goobers beliefs it seems to me Sai is much more friendly for this kind of thing, than MS Paint. My productivity and enthusiasm rose exponentially just not having to put up with MS Pain(t) anymore, Actually I planned to do all the asinine looking sprites as they deserve, which couldn't take too long for the effect in the long run; Of coarse I mean redo them entirely, before I have to sprite any more in this ass style. Smooth animations is were I need to get back in the game. Mystical Ninji there wasn't enough frames so everything was jagged, it'd be hard to tell if there was any inconsistencies like boobs that can't stay the same size I've had to fix. New challenges yeah, but at least it feels like I'm doing things the right way now.In other news:Contrary to particular post my old avatar was Ken from Street Fighter, and wasn't drawn by me. I've actually got a new one now featuring two characters planned for Akmar. I need to go ahead and hurry up work on Akmar btw. I've been too lazy, Akuma might say I lack discipline, and as of late I can't really argue. I would prob be much happier in the end if I just went ahead and pushed myself trying to make this game-Usually I have drawings of mine. Avatar and spriting dun count to me, and I haven't drawn anything Akmar related lately, so here is this Samus.-
Spriting in SAI looks like a pain in the arse.
Really nice sprites.
It obliterates any spriting I can do. :(Only problem with SAI is the two methods in which it calculates exactly were to put your pixel. Were Paint just seemingly removes the decimal from your mouses position. I got used to it after a bunch of mistakes. Make a mistake in paint and your back to the tool selector picking a new color if you layed down too many individual pixels to just slap ctr-z.
lol big ass screenshot?
any I've been meaning to use SAI to create sprite but haven't gotten around to it yet XDvery nice sprites :Ddo you have a DA account?Oh that's pretty neat to sprite in SAI. I never really tried it myself.
SATO–
I mean, that's pretty cool man. I might look into that program one day.Samus looks awesome, but the head angle/perspective seems a little off.
