After about a month or so of poking and prodding the DS (i broke my first one when I tried to attack it's ROM chips and it decided to commit seppuku on me) I managed to get it running GM games via emulating a stripped down windows 98 and hence dx8. Here's a screen of me testing adrenaline on my ds:
amazingly it runs at around 25fps (at one point I hit 38fps). The touch screen works too, but I can't get it to show anything other than a simple button. Hopefully a video soon.
Actually Austin, its illegal to make NDS games without certification from Nintendo.
you should add the best games made from GM on a card. does it allow you to select what game you want to play?Heh nice =D
Uh, wow!
I'm ahead of you, I hit a problem with using the 2nd screen as well but got around it.
Good job =D
@Austin & Alert Games: Too bad two wrongs don't make a right…
Yeah, F1ak3r is correct. They make two wrongs.
It was as though millions of noobs cried out in joy, and suddenly were silenced by lawsuits.
That's pretty neat, OL.
If you can run 98 on it, you should have access to anything that runs on 98, right?Can't see any unsurmountable issues to running online, then.(Yay :))
