Spring Break

I had Spring Break last week. It was great, and I did nothing. Gotta love it. :D

CT

Sprites, sprites, and more sprites. And tiles. Those are on the menu for me. I'm hungry.

A jet. Yep.

A miniboss. Its body is a little bland so I might change it.

A clearly unfinished tileset.

A character portrait of Jamie Green, one of your allies in the game.

All this spriting is keeping me from working on the actual engine of the game. Peh. >_>

Baseball

Technically, she's playing softball, but w/e.

I don't actually watch baseball, but I hear that some people do. No, I don't know why. Maybe it's soothing, like a zen thing.

Jamie Green looks like she just got jumped.

I hate watching baseball. I do the same thing to baseball to what I do to the Indy 500, wait until it is about to finish.

Baseball is one of the most intense sports in the world. I don't know if you're a curling fan, but they're similar in the fact that the action unfolds slowly, and at times, beautifully. It's a game of strategy and is just as much of a team sport as an individual sport, so there's plenty of pressure late in the game. When that last batter hits a walk off home run, it's one of the greatest feelings in the world.

Sorry, I get annoyed when people call baseball boring. [:)]

The only sport I consider an individual sport is Track and Field because you can't really depend on anyone else to win for you. Baseball is more like a team sport because you need more than one person to actually play the game, like pitcher, shortstop, 1-3rd basemen, outfielders, etc.

When you're at bat, it's very much an individual sport.

Nah, I don't have anything against baseball. It's fun to play, just not so much to watch. =/

That might be true but if you strike out you still have other people in your team that could hit a homerun and win the game for you.
