No it's not resurrection of moo, moo never died. Moo is just there to make you read my blog. And for me to get some money offcourse.
Now, about resurrection: I decided to resurrect one of my oldest projects. The one which died because I didn't have egnouh skill to do it at the time. Yes, it's that MGS inspired game I posted an old demo of two blogs back. Now, I won't have much time to work on it right now. But I'll work on it as much as possible.I'm rewriting the engine completely. I'll probanly write the basic engine until GM7 comes out and then switch to GM7. I hope it won't be hard to do that. And GM7 will probably be good. So far I have a radar and autotiling script (maybe I won't use it thought). I have a pretty good AI script, it just needs some minor fixes, I hope I'll be able to make it so that enemies collaborate (e.g. try to trap you). Also, I'll add a simple RPG system. Nothing complicated, just improvement of some stats after killing a boss (health, how much ammo you can carry). I'm still thinking about making some kind of "bullet time" but I have to see if I can make it work in this kind of gameplay. Also, it will have puzzles. If you ever played "Star Trek: Elite Force 2" you know what kind of puzzles to expect. If not, well…Now, lighting… I'll try. I'm no lighting wiz but I want to add a bit of "hide and go seek" in the dark. Story… I have a story, it's not that bad, abit cliched but I'll try too root that out. It even has a bit of romance, sorta Snake-Meryl kind of romance.Graphics, that's what I'm wooried about! But if I pop out a really good demo I think I'll find someone to help me. I have a pretty good idea for a main music theme so I'll try and do my best.Yes, this is VERY ambicious project but I want to pull it throught. I hope I'll be able to. Keep your fingers crossed.Moo!
