I'd reccomend 2 Gigs, Though my GM/FF/HL2ness only used ~1.3, so I had enough to run, say, Portal too.

I tried multi screen the other day… didnt go that well with 512mb ram (most of which was used!!) and an athlon xp 2ghz! I NEEDS MOAR RAM!!
