Hello! I am Panithadrum. I had another account here, but I lost my mail and my password, so I needed to create another one.
I am here to talk about my game Apocalyptic evolution. I am trying to do my best with it. Today, I have a little demo I want you to try. Here is the GMC topic! Please, check it and give feedback, or ideas… I accept suggestions. Here is the demo! Here is a youtube video! This game have a lot of features where I worked a lot:
Quote:
• Light and shadow system (fast and simple)• Dinamic characters with a NEW smooth animation system• An interaction system, so you can check things, take items, etc.• Perfect collisions (or I think so)• A nice looking HUD where you can see your inventory, health and else.• Decals like blood, ash, etc.• Optimized fog system (forgot to put into the demo)• A lot of weapons and items (there aren't shown all the weapons in the demo)• Customizable settings• Customizable keys!• A simple but effective dialog system (not shown in the demo)• And something more that I don't remember right now
I like ^_^
I remember seeing this at the GMC. Extremely nice work, amazing attention to detail! Pretty flawless really, apart from originallity (zombies AGAIN!).
The music was a bit naff. I suggest seeing as it looks like this is set in a shopping centre you get 'ambient shopping music' (you know, really tacky, casio keyboard type music) and then add effects like made it fade in and out, would be really creepy.Very nice anyway, I hope to see this completed =]Thank you for your feedback :-) Optical Liam, there is one new topic of this game on the GMC. Link here
I am wondering if you could recue it, because it is dying. Thank you for the music suggestion, I forgot that, lol :PI am trying to do colourfull lights, posts, popcorns and things that you can find in a good mall.Hai-welcome to 64D! Game looks awesome!
Hi welcome, also that game looks great, like GTA
Judging by the screenshot it looks great, too bad it is made with GM6 and Vista will refuse to run it.
From the screenshot, it looks as if it has mouse aiming. But it's not. I would have much preferred mouse aiming over arrow-key turning.
Otherwise its quite good. Looks like a lot of effort went into it.Hello to all people here hehe, I'm glad to see that you like it.
NoodleNog, take a look at the options. You can aim with mouse, using relative or absolute movement, and using arrow keys to turn. Three modes in total ;-)What was your username?
fractured i think. yes. why?
