Im back…
Hello everyone. I haven't bloged in 4 months but Im back after some unfortunate things happening. First I switched internet providers and it took 1 month to activate for some reason. Then a week after this happened my computer stoped working. It took forever to get a new computer, and here I am now.Vista is under ratedWhats with all this crap about vista being horible?? Scince I had to get a new computer, I had no chose but to get vista. Its really not that bad. sure its different than xp but it grows on youMy computer ate my home workAll my old projects are cancelled but I plan on releasing some new games soon.My new websiteToday I released an unfinished version of my site, The Hyrulian Mushroom. Its a nintendo fan site for nintendo fans. If you would like, you can visit it at www.thehyrulianmushroom.uni.cc.
Yeah vista is under rated, and a ton of people leave it on the high graphical settings then complain about how slow it is.
It also blocks everything.
It depends, if you are used to run a lot of old programs, games and hardware, Vista will suck. If you have a relatively new computer with everything new and up to date, Vista will fit perfectly.
I was smart and have xp and vista installed =p
Vista is very shiny.
Vista is good. BUT there are several bad things about it, including:
-Too much security.-Incompatibility with a large number of commonly used programs. (At least for me.)-Lags games badly if the theme is not disabled. (Lags it a bit even with all the graphical settings turned off as well, but not as much as it does with it on.)-Bad placement of the Shut Down tool. (But easily fixed with a short cut on the desktop instead.)-Ctrl+Alt+Delete brings up a pop up rather than the Task Manager. (There is an option to access the Task Mananger in the pop up, but it's a waste of a click.)-Etc.Vista sucks because I can't play most old japanese imports on it, plus it bugs me about allowing stuff to be done everytime I run a program.
I like the way Vista looks, and seems good. But, apparently it won't run GM6. Also, It seems to not work with a few of my favorite first person shooters.
Dude, all Microsoft did was add a shinier GUI and some more DRM.
^ Agreed.
And 3 warning messages just to begin installing Firefox does not 'grow on you'… Vista is nothing but a massive lag-fest with far too much security.
