So, on the inverse to my previous blog where I asked you to share some of your favourite artists, this time around let's all share our favourite pieces that we've ourselves created. This can be any medium: drawings, paintings, music, games, whatever.
So just post a piece of art that you've made and talk a little bit about it and why you like it the most. I'll start,SQUARE / CIRCLEI've posted this here already so most of you have likely seen it before. It's a recent drawing and fairly straightforward in composition but I'm very happy with how it turned out. I spent a long time on it (too long) and the whole way through it was satisfying to create. A few people have said it looks like an optical illusion to them. That wasn't intentional, but cool to hear all the same. Now, all of you share some art.Post your favourite piece of art that you've made

I don't have any art to share personally, I just wanted to say your piece looks phenomenal. I don't think I would have the physical, much less mental endurance to make something so intricate.
I like that art too, it was my wallpaper for a while you may remember
I haven't done actual art since I was 15 in art class. Another thing I regret neglecting so much, at the time I was doing it and afterwards.thanks for reminding me that i used to make feeble attempts at visual art
these are not good, but they do exist:i really enjoy your art. i recently discovered fermat's spiral and feel like you could run with it & make something really cool.apparently 64d rotates images by 90 degrees?honestly, it's this mockup (click to enlarge)
for many reasons, i actually dislike a lot of my older work. mostly because my sensibilities have changed. hopefully i can produce more art in the future to reflect that.If I'm going to be honest, I make things I like immediately but hate in the long run. Angst/self loathing/other teenager feelings I should have dropped long ago…
The idea of Alternare is the most beautiful, inspiring thing I've ever had. Trying to make the game live up to it."Trying to make the game live up to it." I recognize this! I too have an idea or feeling that I want to express in the form of a game, but the struggle to do so well enough is real. There has been many attempts.
Here's a painting where I'm not trying to express anything other than the shape and texture of the things you can see in it.Did you make that Nopy?
that's fucking awesome
Uh… are you getting paid by a major game developer? Because you could easily get a job with art like that.
Edit: By the way, you keep saying and doing stuff that makes me like you more and more, man! Know that you are awesome.
