Scary4Digits 2014 Finalists

Posted by RC on Nov. 23, 2014, 7:20 p.m.

VOTING ENDS: November 26th @ 23:59 UTC

With round 1 of voting having just ended, we're left with 5 finalists! Only 3 of the 5 finalists will win prizes, and it's up to you (the community) to vote for who gets what!

Just like the last round of voting, send me a message with your top 3 games among the finalists in order from 1 to 3. This is to determine who places where.

REMEMBER: ALL FINALISTS ARE REQUIRED TO VOTE OR ELSE FACE DISQUALIFICATION! Finalists MAY NOT vote for their own entry! Only one set of votes per person, and anyone caught manipulating the votes will be subject to disqualification. DO NOT CHEAT!

Anyone can vote - not just the finalists or competition participants. I encourage everyone who has played the finalist games to vote, as their final place in the competition depends on it! RATING A GAME IS NOT THE SAME AS VOTING. SEND ME A MESSAGE WITH YOUR VOTES!

THE FINAL FIVE (in no particular order)

Good luck to the finalists in this final round of voting, and good job to everyone who entered! Even if you didn't make it to the finals, you still succeeded at entering which in itself is its own reward!

NICE! All of the ones I voted for are here, and both of my runners up are here too! :P

I'm surprised; I didn't expect to make it this far. Thanks, everyone! And congrats to the other finalists.

Gosh, considering all the bashings I got I didn't expect to reach the finals!

None of the games I voted for made it to the finals, though. Ah well, let's play some more…

Oh Josh, I absolutely expected you to be one of the finalists. My success on the other hand, is what's truly surprising.

I was tougher on the games I liked. I've never seen a perfect game, and these games have a lot of potential. I gave points to help close the gaps.

Nopy, I preferred your original (more ambiguous) sentiment. We don't want to make the thread too big a circle-jerk.

Yours was one of the few that had some substance to it. That, and quite frankly, there's not a lot of competition here so I'd be surprised if you didn't place in the top five. Crushing as my review may have been, I spent the most time on the ones I thought had or should have the most potential. For many others in the roster, it was way too early to tell.

You call giving an 8/10 tough? Geez, I wonder what my 3/10 looked like to you.

Congratulations to the finalists.

I don't rate indie games on the same scale IGN uses. It's okay if you do. 😛

The tough was in the speech, not the figure.

Only one of the games I voted got to the finals, but that's probably because I voted games I thought no one else would vote (and games that worked on Linux).

Congratulations to the finalists, I will exercise my right to vote;)

My three votes are among the finalists, the best man win.
