Well, Bungie released new maps for Halo 2! So, here's what I think of 'em:
Containment:Ok, this thing is just AWESOME for CTF games. Lots of routes through the level, a nice balance of weapons, tanks, and, of course, those giant gates that add a nice bit of strategy. Manage to get a tank in the other team's base, and they've got a problem. An explosive problem.Warlock:Well, this one brings back memories of Halo 1's Wizard. (It does have the same layout)This time around, its a hella lot prettier, with rain, and water. It's a nice map for smaller groups, and there's a lot of shotguns and battle rifles, which can be pretty deadly, and no rocket launchers, thank god.Turf*:A rather small map, but it's pretty complex. It's the only map in the game with the Brute Plasma Rifle on it, and there's a rather useless Warthog sitting it it. It's also a rather pretty map (Somewhat like City 7 from Half Life 2), you can even see the bridge you play on in one of the campaign mode levels. And the pointless tower that seems to have no top.Sanctuary*:A small-ish level, symetrical, has nice water. Not much else to say. Plays pretty nicely, I guess. Need to be a good driver to use vehicles well, pretty narrow doors, and lots of places for people to jump out and board you.* Pay map. You can buy these two maps together for $8.03 canadian. It's worth it.
wtf, you have to pay for Halo maps?!
Well, pay for some of them. Something about Microsoft and Bungie making as much money as po- *mind controlled* - you know, supporting the people who work hard to make them.
lmao, ah, I see.
What colour should mods be, do you think.
YOU!
UPLOAD MORE GAMES/EXAMPLES!<.<>.>If you ever feel like it anyway. =)Mods should probably be, like, green or blue, they seem to be the other 2 colors used in the site.
