Hello again.
Just working on V3 of Pilot.I've been working on:- Made a text into to story mode, but I'm tempted to attempt a movie intro after it, (like in some final fantasy games) so you get into the story a bit better. Not quite so sure on that though…-New enemy types:- one that is more tough to kill than the first three enemy types, and acts like two of them, but when it runs out of health, it will explode and send out 8 really powerful shots in 8 directions that will hurt you significally, so a good idea is to keep your distance, and shoot it, then avoid the 8 dark energy balls.- not really origonal, but I'm going to make a stealth enemy that will dissappear when you get too far away and will be immune to shots, so you have to get in close and kill it. It will be weaker than the normal enemy, but it will have a more faster and powerful shot, so be wary…I've also implimented the luminaire light engine (1.0) into my game, so it now looks a bit more spacy, (the buldings are bright in places inside, but dark outside.Could anyome tell me who made this engine, as I can't remember. I would like to credit them…I'm also considering splitting Pilot into 2 versions, so then one version might be done.At the moment there are three modes: story, mission, and tutorial, but I'm considering making 2 different versions of the game:- one with story + tutorial- one with just mission mode (maybe call it: extended missions or something)The ironic thing with that, is that the mission part would be finished first, so I'm wondering what should I do?
Why use Luminaire? It's outdated. Use L3S instead.
Dunno. Which ones faster? I used luminaire because I had it on my pc but only just now figured how to merge it into the game.
I might try L3S, but not today, going to bed in 20 mins…
