Today's mission...

Today's mission for myself today is to work on Pilot. So far I've been doing just that and although I haven't made any new levels I have made some mines which I'll put into the next demo. I've also added sound effects to the player and the enemies so it sounds more spacey (the sounds are from Star Wars, you know laser ect. but I think they fit with the game. so meh!!) The nicest change I've made today is that I've added nice little particle effects to the asteriods so small rocks fly off the asteroids when you shoot them. It makes the game more pretty!!

The next thing I'm going to do Is add walls that hurt you (make em glow or something..) so it'll make the player fly more carefully and provide a bigger challenge…

The main problem with PILOT is not the programming, but coming up with level designs and different enemies…

I think I'll make a level with one huge boss with a compicated pattern, like you fly too far away, it spawns enemies tochase you, but if you fly to close, it will hit you with some energy blast. Then it would fly around alot so you'd have to keep up with it, i dunno something like that, but I won't make it too difficult (first boss after all…)

I don't know, I'll do something for the next demo…

(next demo I aim tohave:

10 levels, maybe a boss level (10) something different than the first 5 types of missions: asteriods, enemy killing, survival, fortress, and delivery, ( I know an idea for level 7: delivery, but with mines, new enemy from last mssion, and walls that hurt you. Make some challenging closed up areas full of stuff to thow the players offgaurd or something…)

So I'm really just venting my ideas here because I'm bored..

Yesterday I submitted a minigame here, so it should go though here eventually.. Its nothing special, just one of those button mashing games, (really easy to make). The only thing I would want to add to it is a online scoreboard, but unfortunately I have no clue on how to make one, ( I used gml_joseas tutorial, tried it, but didn't really get it..) so if anyone has a better example or knows how to make one easily I would be grateful if I could use it…

WOW THIS IS A LONG BLOG. If anyone spent all their times reading this I would like to thank them…
