Well it seems that if you're in a band everyone loves you - so I'm in a band. I started one with 3 of my mates… Me on guitar, guy on drums, guy singing, and guy on bass (yeah, they're all named Guy - not really).

So I've really gotta save up money from work and buy the Les Paul I've always wanted (or at least a cheaper Epiphone LP100)…. because all I have is a really good acoustic (no, really - it's cool). BUT our church is full of amps and drumkits and stuff, so we'll practice there once a week. We've all got our ambitions genre-wise… I want to start off with a Blues-Rock ZZ Top Kind of thing, Bassist is interested in trying to do a progressive evanescence thing, and the singer wants to play Love Metal. So I guess we'll just mix it all together and see what comes out of our arses.

UPDATE ON CO WHY NOT?

I've implemented some cool AI. Uses the A*Algorithm. Pretty nice - simple. They shoot the right people (not their team-mates), take objectives, and so on. They're freaking hard to fight, and they blow each other up. Fun. I've also implemented basic lighting for night-time maps (you can choose between day and night for all maps)… All the buildings light up appropriately. It's nothing special, but does the trick and doesn't lag the game at all. Scott's working on a HUD and Adam/Takua is doing a chat console. Fun times.
