One of my most hated features about myself is the fact that I'm a frigging lefty. It really angers me. And usually I'm proud that I bend the other way… in terms of handedness. But in the case of looking for an electric guitar that fits my price range and my handedness.. It really pisses me off.
I'm in a huge rush to gather up money so I can hurry up, get an electric guitar, so I can jam with my band. At the moment I have a beautiful left-handed acoustic, handcrafted and all - but it has nothing volume-wise against the other instruments. So - I originally wanted a Gibson Les Paul. Problem? It's 3,500 grand - and that's just right-handed. For a LEFT HANDED Gibson LP it's frigging 5,000!! That's awful. So… I've finally reduced myself to accepting maybe a cheapish Epiphone Les Paul 100 - 500 dollars left-handed. Problem? They apparently break easily. Epiphone isn't too good with strength from what I've been told - so I look at the range of guitars available left-handed… I tell ya, there's almost nothing available. I'm seeing all these amazing deals on second-hand Gibsons going away on Ebay, but they're all frigging right-handed. Almost everything that was suggested and reported since 0.6 has been implemented. Including the ability to make the AI soldier "ryan" (chiken) to crap himself and chuck spasms. Unfortunately, it involves typing in a code during in-game gameplay - but it's pretty easy to figure out, especially if you hang around 64Digits too much. Check it out, anywho.
I'm left handed and play guitar right handed - when I first started playing (6 months ago, so I still suck), I asked the guy who now teaches me 'Shouldn't I have a left handed guitar?' and he was just like 'You'll play fine freaking right handed'.
So, yeah. If he ever says a I suck at something I'll just say "try playing a wrong handed guiter, bitch."You should have started playing guitar right-handed from the beginning. My brother is a leftie, but he has forced himself to use certain things with his right hand (i.e. the cursor, and guitar).
I use the cursor right-handed… That's just what I have always felt comfortable with.
The fact of the matter is… when I started guitar I tried to learn right-handed. And I couldn't do it - My hand simply can't strum properly. And I didn't want to have to waste extra practice time just so I can play guitar right-handed.haha, I'm left-handed, but I use the mouse and play bass right-handed.
I write and use a spoon left handed, but everything else I do right handed.

Simplest answer in the world. Buy a right handed guitar and string it upside down like Hendrix did. He was a lefty and only ever used right-handed guitars.
