Hi everyone.
There's no real plot to this blog, just latest news 'n' stuff. The kind of blog that gets 3 comments. :(Anyway, to start off my blog - I came home today to see two new albums on my bed! Yay! I got the new Neal Morse new album "Solo Scriptura" - he's an ex-member of Spock's Beard, and now does solo, c-prog metal (christian progressive metal) albums. It has just 4 tracks - but one goes for half an hour, two for 25 minutes, and one for 5 minutes. I'm 19 minutes into the first track, it's pretty cool, has some really sick riffs. It has Paul Gilbert (from Mr Big) on guitars and Mike Portnoy (from Dream Theater) on drums. The other album is Bon Jovi's "These Days" - my all-time favourite album. Truth is, I downloaded it a long time ago and lately have deleted all my downloaded music (50 gigs), and will slowly re-buy it all. Okay, not all my downloaded music, but what I could bear to part with. And so I decided I needed to buy my favourite album first. It's a cool album.I haven't the best of news for Conflict: Online. Progress is slow! I've actually been learning 39dll, thanks to Arcalyth, just for future reference when we really get the online stuff underway. However, both Arc and I haven't exactly got all the motivation we need. I'm sure it'll pick up again soon, I actually had started rewriting CO in an online structure, fixing up some things, etc. Some good news though, is that I've setup an expert topic at the GMC dedicated to figuring out a solution to the still existant FPS issue in CO (in having terrain/tiles) - and I've managed to merge all tile layers (there are 4 in CO - building tiles, grass/dirt/sand tiles, water tiles, and water-mask tiles) into two - one for water and one for non-water. I don't know how much it improves FPS but it should hopefully make a significant difference.-Rhys
Have fun rebuying all that music. =D
(you do know that barely of the money goes to the artists, right?)Yes, I know that - but it's the stealing factor that I don't like.

I like Hawk Nelson, and Relient K for Christian bands.
Not really, you don't want to be dealing with normal bugs plus the online one's at the same time.
It's best to get a working engine, then add the online function.-ElmerniteSee, you got more than 3 comments =D
