I'm way excited!
I've been working on the Conflict Online Map Editor (Conflict Editor for short) all day and last night…. It's such a hiccup especially when I had no experience with level editors… Plus my friend was like "you can't change the room width and height so you have to edit the view coding so that it follows the players outside the room and make the game draw things outside the room" So i was like yeah ok… and i didn't have to. AANYWAY the editor is finally *done* (when I say done I mean the core engine is done, we still have to do the GUI and add all the objects for the editor), and the CO client imports and plays custom maps absolutely fine now. All that's left is the security issues arising for online-custom-maps.If you wanna see a screeny, check it here: http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/1082/editorscreen3kc.jpgWOO!Rhys
Sweet!!!
I just tested this game out today and the FX are pretty damn nice… I like the overall smoothness of everything, but as I mention in the GMC thread, I did get stuck in the wall once or twice… but I could still get loose, so I suppose it's not that big of a deal.keep up the great work man.O that looks pretty sweet, I love it!
Great effects. Too bad my computer sucks too much to play it right.
Heh, nice. Level editors actually aren't too hard. The room_ functions come in handy a lot when exporting.
Looks good, as usual. =]
