Originally, the next CO Demo, if a demo at all, would show at least some basic online playability. Well… That *might* still be the case, but chances are, I am going to release a demo early, as I've been working on the new engine. The cool thing about this engine is that, my old computer piece of crap ran it at full 60 99% of the time, and that was on the highest graphics level. I'll also allow you to be able to play capture the flag and warrior… against the AI. But, for those who played previous demos, the AI sucks. They're just dummies that shoot at you. At least you'll be able to play around with the flag, etc. And of course, play around with blowing up enemies.

Ok, so it'll come in maybe a week or so. It's going to be SICK, I can't even wait myself to try out an engine that i can try out whenever I want anyway. Now, all we need is JakeX to stay on his fat ass and do some work on the menus. *yawn*. Oh, well, yeah, and the other stuff.

And, to finish off the blog, I'd like to say that I've been working on CO for 7 hours straight now; besides lunch 'n' breakfast. Oh, and… 76 DAYS TILL G3!!!

Sweetness. What gave you such a big increase in speed?

A good part of it was to do with the window-scaling. It had been set at full-scale, and apparently GameMaker has the worst methods of scaling the screen. In a very small game, full scale turns the max-FPS from 585 to 75. But, that was just one part of it. There were many other little factors that came into it, and now, the game is much faster.
