Okay so more work done on my still unnamed rpg, I don't think I will use stampede's suggestion for a name . . . well officialy but I think it does make a good development name."
I improved the battle system a bit yesterday made it so that damage now calculates defence into it aswell. Of course this is still a simple battle engine it will get more advanced when I impliment the final list of skills for players such as speed, luck etc etc.Just thought I would post a screenshot or two so people can see how it is shaping up as I have just spent the last few hours improving alot of the games graphics and will wait until i have a full day off work before adding more to the code. The New Look Town(Still more buildings and things to comeNot so Naked, Nekkid Guy(ignore the giant buy button, Thats just something I used to test armour and weapons)A List of Guilds to join
The character in the second screenshot looks wierd
That grey building in the first shot… the lack of a window sill makes the wall look paper thin.
Okay i've added a pane of glass onto the grey budiling.
Also the game now has alot more stats most of which are still useless but they shall be implemented shortly and hopefuly I should be able to release a very early release demo in the next week or so.=O you're not supposed to post pornography. You can clearly see that guy/chick/person with no hips and crotch's crotch.
XD @ Kenon
put some cell shading on the guy..
Nekkid-Guy! YEAAAA!!
Yeah, I was about to make an isometric game. Actually, I still am.
The town looks great, keep up the good work!
@ Player: Cell Shading is a 3d effect. . . I don't see how I could apply that to a 2d image. I'm tyring to keep my colours down to around 3 different shades per image to keep a stylized look for all of the game although some things need a bit more colour. But i'll try to change the shading on the person to a less pillow shaded and more realistic shading style later on.
@Basil: The game itself isnt iso, its actually more text based/first person, I just decided to make the look of the town isometric for visual reasons.
