Well, lately…I got kinda sucked into this platformer I was messing around with, and it kinda took over. The story is basicly like this.
You are Bot-Bot, a military but cutesy robot who is the only bot who knows about a secret attack that it going to go down at I.R.N.'s HQ (Inter-Robotics-Nations) The 1st level begins with another robot telling to to get your ass to Alpha 17, a base that has communications with HQ…The robot that tells you to go is in a plane above you under attack, after the planed explodes…you have to get your self to the portal at the end of the level, considering it's level one, it's not that hard.So I'll see if I can put up a BETA of it soon…I should probally add a little more if I want it to be accepted. But Bot-Bot looks to be my new character to develope on.As for "Brawl Being in My System" I mean it's taking up my time. xDIn my latest online match with fenwaydog…or one of his brothers, I dun know who I was playing with I came in 2nd :pI was leading the last half of the game, (7-Man Elimination) but the lag was getting to me. >,<So…there ya go…Bot-Bot…coming soon hopefully.Cheers,Steve Manning
Portal turrets: Cute, and deadly.
A year-round school schedule would be a terrible aproach for the school systems to attack bad academic grades. If anything, a year round schedule would disencourage students and hurt their morale. A kid can always look forward to summer. If he does well and avoids summerschool, he can enjoy his or her vacation at it's fullest. If a student does not do well and must take summer school, he's missing out on 2-3 weeks of summer. Losing their summer vacation to summer school is a terrible thought to kids and that motivates them to try harder but taking away their summer vacation for good or bad student would only hurt their grades that were otherwise picked up to avoid summer-school. To increase academics, we'd need to avoid the "leave no kid behind" rule, along with disallowing illegal immigrants with minimal english capabilites to enroll in public schools. These would do much more good than a year-round schedule. Losing a two months of straight vacationing can have a huge impact on students decreasing their morale and motivation.
