Okay so a lot has happened in the last two weeks, but I'll try to keep it short and less detailed for you…

(I've just been staring at this for two five hours. Okay, here I go!)

Work has been phenomenal. Phenomenally WEIRD, that is. I'm not sure how to describe it. My first few days were a huge pain. On my fourth day I was having a horrible time attending customers when a fellow co-worker asked how things were going. I said, "Horrible. I'm quitting after today." He genuinely looked concerned for a minute then said, "Well, you shouldn't."

On my most recent shift (working for two weeks now) I have to admit, I did really well. No need to call the supervisor, no angry customers, and I signed someone up for a rewards card so I'm getting good credit. I guess things eventually work out.

I'm also getting along with mostly everyone who works there (granted most of them are older, mature ladies who don't cause a fuss). What I find a little weird though is I'm mostly getting along with the guys. Just like high school all over again. I mean, the other girls are fine, but when they talk to me it's the same old, "So I told my ex that we can be friends, but he took that as me wanting to get back together, and I'm like, uh, no…" and I'm never sure how to respond or react. Whereas with the guys, it's plain and simple, "I can't believe we have to move all that stuff to the other side of the store," "Yeah, that sucks."

As a matter of fact, and I kid you not, the same day an elderly man told me I was "a real looker," an elderly woman actually said, "You look like the woman my husband left me for." I didn't know what to say other than, "I'm sorry?" and she just smiled and left.

The store manager has been real nice to me too. I feel kinda uncomfortable when he's complimenting my good work in front of other staff because I'm told he doesn't talk to anyone else like that…

What's up with that?

Also, I've developed a new fascination with the story, "Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde." I don't know what it is, but I like it a lot. I've always been one of those people who's either real good or real bad. I feel like I'm exactly half and half so this story really speaks to me. I've got a friend who has got "Hide" tattooed on her left wrist, and "Seek" on her right. I think I'm going to take her idea but with "Jekyll" and "Hyde." Or if not on my wrists, then on my hands going from my thumb to pointer finger…

I'm never going to go through with tattooing myself ever, but I like to think about it.

And finally, I have a few requests.

1. I need a new Halloween avatar. I've asked Cyrus but he's "too busy." But I wanted one with me, in a cute kitty costume or just wearing an orange t-shirt with a black pumpkin face.

2. My birthday is coming up on November 10th, so a birthday avatar would be awesome too.

3. Christmas avatar.

4. NEW BANNER. I adore the one that I have now, but I haven't spoken to my friend in a very long time (his parents cut off the internet 'cause he was dating a girl online) so looking at it makes me a little sad. Anyways I'm considering sticking with the beverage theme (this one is modeled after RockStar energy drinks in case you forgot/didn't know), so like, a Sunny-D version as "Ronnie-V" or a Coca-Cola one that just says "Ronnica."

I'm open to other banner ideas, but I'd like to stick to my traditional pink-black-white.
