Guess what I get to do tomorrow? today? Well, if you've been paying attention, I get to start college! Woooooo! Yay! Finally, my uselessness begins to diminish. Slightly.
I'm still not looking forward to it. I've just never been a fan of learning.
On a more entertaining bit of news, yesterday was my supervisor's retirement party. After 19 years as a cashier, she finally came to the realization that it's stupid, and time to move on.
After work, we went to Moxie's restaurant for a fancy-shmancy dinner. The management team and the retiree got to in a private room, while the rest of us ate at some tables outside the room. Kinda sucked.
Anyways, at work, I'd say I'm liked, but no one really knows me because I don't make that effort to be anyones friend. Last night, I made up for all that. When the retiree came to hug me, she said, "Aw, thanks for coming, Ronnie!" I said, "No, thank YOU for retiring!"
Needless to say I had everyone cracking up.
Also, at my table, I was annoyed by peoples "OMG this one time, I got sooooooo drunk…" so I told them, "I've never been really drunk." to which they all replied, "WE'RE GETTING YOU SMASHED TONIGHT!"
During our meals the conversation shifted and everyone forgot about the drinking thing, until I ordered the most AMAZING beverage ever: the raspberry kiwi crush.
It looked nice in the menu, so I tried it. It was basically a slurpee/slushie with some vodka at the bottom. I hate vodka, but the drink was really good! For the first time in my life, I had more than one drink at dinner. A coworker goes, "You're still on your second?" and other people went, "WTF IT'S HER THIRD!" I've never had that much to drink before, and I will never do it again. Luckily, I didn't get drunk. Or very buzzed, even though the immature people at my table kept making, "Got a ride home?" jokes all the while.
*sigh* No wanna school
tomorrow today =\
