Just the right amount of confusion and wonder before you progress (but I often wondered if I had died or done the right thing). Is it possible to die? The chargeable beam-shot things were cool and handy.
Overall, a marvelous journey that breaks time and space itself. 5/7+ Style+ Plot+ Goof+ Wonder- WASD (i prefer ESDF)- Gfx when going upwards???- SilenceYou can die and get a game over in the first area with random encounters, but aside from a pop-up message, the game continues normally as if you hadn't died and gotten a game over… I'm relying on the honor system here.
Oh, I never saw a game over screen. The I beat the game at first attempt without dying!? Or maybe I missed it.
There are some deep questions left unanswered after beating the game.Yeah, it's entirely possible you just missed it… but i'd say it's more probable that you simply didn't die. It's not a difficult game
