Today I was having a down day, another one of those depressed days, where you feel like something stuck to the ass of a dung fly, which has been trampled into elephant, well, shit, and spread across the plains of Africa four time over. Not a good feeling. Now, this all came around for two reasons.

1) Gm has a really annoying bug.

2) I miss school.

(I took a cough drop at this point, so I could stop coughing all over the page)

Three years ago I left school. I left to become a baker. Now, Im a bakery Manager, but you dont know how fun school is until you leave. The work seems really hard, and monotonous, but wait until you get into the real world. That is hard, monotonous, boring, and simply not as social as school is.

Back to my first point. Gm has an error with surfaces. If you draw an sprite with alpha values to it, instead of just drawing the colour values to it, with alpha, it changes the alpha values for all the pixels drawn onto to the same as those from the sprite. Sux right.

I can hear you all now saying "Yep", old news. But it was enough to get me down for the day, until my new-found hero GearGod came along and showed me a fix/ workaround.
