Well I got the ground work for my combat system started as well as a bunch of new changes.

The delay on startup(after title screen) is a little shorter now that I instead have the height maps load when you reach said map( takes 15-30 seconds on most machines I've ran it on) hopefully though I'll eliminate this loading later on. So don't think the game has crashed if it idles for less then a minute. I would have put a loading prompt, but the way I have things setup theres no time for one.

Anyways, so theres combat now, you can find three different opponents. A very weak rat, a medium difficulty wolf and a decently challanging goblin w/ club.

Your health and energy gradually go up out of combat allowing you to rest up if you get beaten too badly(although you can't die yet either).

You'll go up in levels too, but this is more of a test on the experience gaining bar in the stat window.

NPCs and shops are next on my list of things to do, but I'm also tuning things up and adding more maps as I go. Don't expect alot of the maps to stay the same, I've considered redoing some areas completely, but not until I get more important features fixed/added.

Its replaced the old download on the game's page, and as it looks with GM7 this could easly turn to 10 meg…ug maybe I won't switch to it. Imagine, 10 Megs…
