Copy and paste to download since the code is inactive.

This is a stand-alone demonstration of the stat system, its built simply in GM and apart from the main engine for now.

Currently there is only a Stat window, skill window and inventory window, which are all 95% functional, as in the remaining 5% is minor or unfound…

There are several keys that control certain things, + and - will increase/decrease all the physical stats by one.

When you start it up the social stats will be randomly generated.

Pressing ENTER will randomize the levels of all the skills, you'll notice the change in the stat window as your combat stats will change.

Pressing up and down will increase/decrease the character's level and alter stats accordingly.

Pressing left and right will move the compass…and thats it.

Left clicking on an item(either in inventory or equiped) selects it and its info will display. Right clicking in the inventory will equip it if it is the correct type of item to do so, and right clicking on the equiped items will unequip them.

I've come far enough with the main engine that I'm now going to devote some time to building the basics of the combat engine, mostly all the math and junk that goes on behind the scenes, so a future demonstration of it will be no more visually advanced(possibly less) then the one featured in COW RPG.

As far as the turn based idea I have for it, I'm leaning towards semi-realtime combat. I've some ideas to make it work but I'll need to put them into action first.

That and to build a easy to use interface for the combat system with hot-keys tied to WASD for quick actions. Only time will tell if it'll work out though.

At the moment, all I have to say, is try changing font color of Class text ("Fighter Lv.18"). It's a little hard to see.

And of course; Looks good!

Sounds like a good suggestion, I'll fix that.
