Well I was well underway of making a prototype in GM for my planned polygon voxel dungeon when I realized something was a little off…then I remembered the 1000 -vertex- limit for GM 6 models.
Well thats not going to work…so I decided to look at two other avenues to create this. I already had FreeBasic, which has the ability to use open GL. GLBasic has 3d, but I still need to get a complete license for it.However I recalled something else I've found, Basic4GL. So I downloaded that, but haven't checked it out yet.Funny thing, Basic4GL originally wanted to be called GLBasic, but GLBasic already existed.A nice thing about Basic4GL is that it is free, and open source.Oh and I have a Myspace page now. Shouldn't be too hard to find. I have a Facebook, but I'm not too impressed by it so I may let it collect digital dust.I'm also considering selling or giving out the code/gm file/ graphics of the 2d The Crawl, since I lack the original models to recreate anything in it. Anyone interested?
Silly gm limits.
Did you draw that picture you posted in a comment on jupiter's page?
