So after much headache, I finally found the correct service pack to install everything just right. Then it finally compiled. Finally. Which is awesome cuz now I can(eventually) transfer the game to C++.
Prior to that I made a video on how to create a simple wall in photoshop, although you can use any paint program. Details and the video at the link below.Vid and programAlthough I now have voxlap fully usable, for now I'll stick to handling things the way I'm doing in evaldraw, in which the previous demos were made with. Luckily a lot of commands are provided from voxlap, including basic windows interface and directx commands.Hopefully I'll have some tech demos, grant it they'll be less detailed. But at least I can setup the groundwork.
That is pretty freaking awesome. Heh this whole time I thought you were drawing out each layer yourself :P
yays finding a compiler has always been a bitch for me.
I needed VC++ 6.0 with SP5, and the VC Processor Packs.
Nearly impossible to find SP5.I'm getting a few references sheets since I'm going to be testing out a few things in C++ now.
